The Pakistan-China Business Conference, held on June 5 June in Shenzhen, China, saw a huge turnout as hundreds of business leaders from both countries participated. There was participation from several important political figures, including the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Minister of Commerce, and the Ambassador to China. The Prime Minister of Pakistan delivered an inaugural speech and declared the meeting open. Furthermore, more than 300 business leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors from the two countries attended the conference.

Bringing together business owners, entrepreneurs, and industrialists from both countries, the conference was aimed at promoting an exchange of ideas. The conference was intended to introduce an investment environment in Pakistan. The conference provided an opportunity to promote the latest trade and technical advancements in Pakistan. This would, in the future, bring greater opportunities for trade between the countries.

From Pakistan, many notable business groups such as from textile industries, leather industries, pharmaceuticals, footwear and toys industries, electronic products, and medical appliances, participated in the conference.

The Prime Minister, Mr. Shehbaz Sharif, lauded the exceptional significance of the Pakistan-China Business Conference. In doing so, he mentioned its instrumental role in the realm of economic development in fields where China excels. These include Chinese technology, information technology, agriculture, mining, steel industry, renewable energy and other. He further mentioned the government's intentions to provide convenience and safety to Chinese investors and their projects in Pakistan. He mentioned that this cooperation is the key to a brighter future for the people of China and Brazil. 

The president, Wang Lizhong, by highlighting the significance of China-Pakistan relations, wishes to take this opportunity to further promote cooperation. In terms of capital, information, talent, technology, and trade. He mentioned his intentions of leading a team to Pakistan within the year to inspect and do some work.
